In an effort to make the Museum accessible to our entire community, $2 Tuesdays are offered on the first Tuesday of every month to all Monterey County residents. Please bring current identification to verify your residence.

Mahalo Mondays - Mondays in March all day
Hula’s on Lighthouse Avenue is giving back 10% of their total sales for every Monday evening in March to MY Museum! Come help the museum and enjoy some amazing pu pu’s. 622 Lighthouse Avenue, Monterey, 831-655-4852.
Parenting the "Tween" with Kim Biggio - Mondays, March 12th, 19th & 26th 5:30-7:30pm
This three week workshop will explore the issues relevant to parenting the 10-14 year old child. Emerging sexuality, emotional and cognitive changes, effective communication and other topics to be discussed. Learn how to navigate through the sensitive pre-teen and teen years in a way that deepens your relationship with your child.
$50 per person or $85/couple for the 3 class series. Pre-registration is required, call 649-6444.
Positive Discipline with Kim Biggio - Thursdays, April 12th - May17th 5:30-7:30pm
This series provides parents and childcare providers with valuable tools to negotiate the complexities of raising young children. Learn how to set limits within the family without negativity. Kim Biggio is the Coordinator and Lead Teacher for Lighthouse Preschool and a mother of three. She has an extensive background in Parent Education.
Members-$65 or $100/couple Non-members-$75 or $120/couple for the 6 class series.
Childcare is available on-site every Thursday from 5:15-7:30pm for $7 per child. Ages 3 and older please.

A Dog Named Moo
Join San Francisco artist, Essence for a musical performance of her latest album A Dog Named Moo, which was voted by Daily Candy as one of the Best Kid’s Records of 2011! Families will enjoy songs of total joy, silliness and in many cases, complete nonsense in an education way free with admission and fun for all ages. Space is limited, first come first serve!
Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss! - Friday, March 2nd 3:00-5:00pm
Celebrate one of our favorite authors at MY Museum. Participants will stir up some trouble with the Cat in the Hat while they enjoy an afternoon of Seuss-fun with games and birthday cake! Free with admission.
St. Patrick's Day Crafting - Saturday, March 17th all day
It’s good to be green, and what’s greener than a recycled crafting extravaganza! Join our crafting guru for some St. Patty’s Day fun….don’t forget to wear green! Fun for all, free with admission.
MY Museum's Inaugural Family Dance Party! - Sunday, March 25th 5:30pm-7:00pm
‘Party like it’s 1999’ with a DJ ‘Shake your Groove Thing’ and do the Hokey Pokey & dance to ‘Party in MY Tummy’ while enjoying yummy pizza and ice cream! Don’t miss the ultimate
